The Atomic Gallery / Information

Accessibility.

We want you to spend time with the art in a way that works for you, whether in the 3D room or the 2D catalogue.

Choose how you visit

The 2D catalogue provides artwork images, descriptions and credits without the 3D room. You can switch to it using “Visit without 3D”.

The site includes labelled controls, visible keyboard focus and a skip-to-content link. Desktop gallery navigation supports keyboard controls and named viewpoints; touch screens use the guided viewpoints. Reduced-motion preferences reduce animated movement.

Audio tours are visitor-controlled: starting a tour is optional, and you can pause or move between stops. Artwork descriptions remain available as text.

Current accessibility status

Our target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We have not completed a full accessibility audit and do not claim conformance or certification.

The 3D canvas is a visual experience and may be difficult with screen readers, magnification or some input devices. Use the 2D catalogue if the room is unsuitable. Equivalent text access for every spoken tour needs a separate review; the catalogue descriptions are not a complete tour transcript.

Current checks include desktop Chrome, narrow screen layouts, keyboard interactions and reduced-motion behaviour. Earlier gallery checks included iPhone Safari. These checks are not a complete assistive-technology or browser assessment.

Tell us where you get stuck

Please describe the page, what you were trying to do and what prevented it. Your browser, device and assistive technology can help us reproduce the issue; include only information you are comfortable sharing.

The public contact channel is being prepared. During this invited preview, contact the person who gave you access. A monitored contact address will be published on the Contact & reporting page before public launch.
