The Atomic Gallery / For creators

How earning will work.

Coming soon: how a share of eligible sales is planned to work for the art you generate or upload.

Coming soon. Creator applications, plans and earnings are not open yet. This guide explains how they are planned to work.

One artwork. Separate offers

These creator formats are planned; none is currently available to buy. TAG currently sells only Mark Nicoll’s own digital downloads. An artwork may qualify for some formats and not others.

Planned commercial formats
FormatWhat needs approval
Print-on-demand T-shirtsPermission for apparel, an appropriate print file, product proof and a printer/fulfilment route.
Art printsPrint rights, sizes, image resolution, colour/output checks and fulfilment terms.
Mural-sized wall printsA suitable large-format master, dimensions, site/product requirements and a reviewed quote. Installation is not assumed.
High-resolution digital licencesThe permitted display use, file specification, licence scope and secure delivery. This is distinct from buying a physical wall print.

See gross, deductions and net

The intended earnings view starts with what the customer paid and shows how that becomes your net earnings. Deductions should be explicit, not hidden inside one unexplained figure.

  1. Gross salesThe full recorded customer payment.
  2. Reversals and refundsAdjustments to the original sale, handled under the agreed policy.
  3. VAT and costsApplicable tax, fulfilment, shipping and payment processing allocations.
  4. Platform commissionThe agreed fee, with its calculation basis made clear.
  5. Net creator earningsWhat remains for you after the recorded deductions.

The merchandise revenue-share rate, commission basis, tax treatment and payout policy are still being finalised. You will see the commercial terms before agreeing to sell.

Earnings are not the same as a bank payment

Pending
Recorded earnings that are not yet available for transfer.
Available
Earnings released after the required reconciliation and checks.
Transferred
A transfer is recorded, but arrival in your bank is not yet confirmed.
Bank-paid
Payment to the bank has been confirmed separately.

The current finance preview uses test records only. Stripe and Stripe Connect are the planned payment and payout route, subject to the final setup. No money moves from the preview, and an earnings statement is not automatically a tax invoice.

What must be agreed before sales open

  • Creator revenue share, platform fee rate and the amount each applies to.
  • Seller identity, VAT treatment, invoices and the creator’s responsibilities.
  • Refunds, disputes, production failures and any holding period.
  • Payout timing, thresholds, reserves and payment-provider requirements.
  • Commercial rights and approved production files for each product.

Decide with the full picture

Exhibiting is not a promise of sales or income. No creator subscription or creator sales are open, and no charge should be inferred from this guide. We will make the final offer and its terms available before you commit.

Public gallery browsing remains free. Future visitor tips and blog signups are separate from your artwork sales; this guide does not allocate tips to creators.
