The Atomic Gallery / Information
GDPR & your data.
How to understand your data rights and raise a request with TAG.
Rights you may exercise
Under UK data protection law, rights can include access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. Their availability depends on the processing and applicable exceptions.
You can withdraw consent to consent-based processing. You can also object to the use of your information for direct marketing. Withdrawal does not retrospectively make earlier lawful processing unlawful.
Read the privacy notice for the information TAG handles and its current limitations.
Making a request
Tell TAG what you want to access, correct, remove or stop using, and enough information to locate the relevant record. You do not need special wording. Do not send identity documents or sensitive details unless they are reasonably needed and requested through an appropriate channel.
The public contact channel is being prepared. During this invited preview, contact the person who gave you access. A monitored contact address will be published on the Contact & reporting page before public launch.
Requests should normally be answered within one month, subject to the rules on identity checks, clarification and permitted extensions. If more time is permitted, the reason and expected timing should be explained.
If something is not right
You can raise a concern with TAG through Contact & reporting. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK data protection regulator.
TAG does not claim ICO approval, a privacy certification or an appointed data protection officer in this preview. Operator details and the final rights-handling process remain to be completed.
